As we've just indicated today and April 1st marks an important day in our lives whereas Botswana Oil will import 90% of the country's fuel requirements.
A Glimpse Of Our Projects. Botswana Oil Limited (BOL) will embark on various projects in its endeavour to significantly contribute towards ensuring security of fuel supplies for the country, ensure equitable access of petroleum products and optimally manage Government reserve strategic stocks and storage facilities.
P1 Billion Ghanzi fuel storage facility to add 18 days import
The Vice President said with Ghanzi storage facility, the Government is seeking to reach this benchmark of 90 days, noting that at the completion of the project Botswana will have installed additional 18 days of storage capacity. Tsogwane revealed that the Government is investing about one billion Pula (P1,000,000,000) in this project.
This is a Botswana Government funded project at over BWP 720 million.
